I sprinted down the narrow hallway, hoping that I would escape from all of the dreadful testing and the isolation.
"HALT!" Voices shouted at me, as I ran towards the exit. A few more minutes and I would be free, I told myself, feeling determined. I was two centimetres away from the exit when there was a cracking sound, and I found myself on the ground. Bleeding out. I crawled for the light, for that was my last chance.
-Chapter 1: Bagged, Dragged and Tagged-
I sat there, alone on a park bench, waiting. Waiting for my friend, Joe. There were kids running around and adults scolding children for doing whatever. A few people entered the park, and headed towards me. One of them pointed a gun at the sky and fired, scattering people and birds alike. I got up, but someone had grabbed me. They shoved me back down onto the park bench, and held me down as a bag was put onto my head. I then felt a blow to my head, which knocked me out.
I awoke in a small room, and within this room was: a bed, a sink, a toilet and a T.V. A wall panel opened up, like a door, and two men in lab coats restrained me. I was then injected with a serum that had increased my awareness around me. I also had a bar-code imprinted on to the side of my neck.
