I have a weird question
THaT1GuY9001 (2013-02-05 03:19:02)I think I may have seen you comment on one of my flips when I had an account back then...
Anyways, they say its because of the climate the person lived in.
So I guess people in africa are cooked and dem eskimo's are frozen.

HanShotFirst (2013-02-05 03:20:22)There's no such thing as white or black skin. Having either is a sign that you will die within the next 2 seconds.
Rather, everyone's skin is a shade of brown. In some places, due to high temperatures and sunlight, people have adapted so that their melanin, which determines the shade, can better protect them from sunlight.
If you lived up north, where it's cold, you skin would be a lighter color due to the body requiring less melanin. If you lived down south, where it's a summer day every day, then your skin would have a darker shade due to having a higher melanin count.

Death is not the end. It is merely a step towards the unknown.
HanShotFirst (2013-02-05 03:26:50)The only people that can truly call themselves "White" are those with albinism. Albinos have no melanin, and therefore have white skin. They also have white hair and blood red eyes because melanin also determines hair color and eye color.
They're also incredibly sensitive to sunlight because they have no melanin to protect them from the UV rays.

Death is not the end. It is merely a step towards the unknown.

Why do people have different skin colors (white, black)?
I'm not trying to be racist, i'm just curious.
