Tears of Release

Tears. What is their purpose?
What do they do they for us?
Do they help ease our sorrows?
What do they symbolize?
Here is what I think they show.

Most tears are a form of release.
And afterward, they may bring peace.
People shed tears through the years,
As they then conquer their fears.
Here is what my tears Symbolize,

My tears try to help me release.
But they seldom bring me peace.
Some things I cannot let go...
Things I don't want you to know...
Things that are Dark and Evil...

I have shed tears for things I have done,
For Battles I have fought and not won...
There are things that I have seen as I live,
Things that I simply cannot forgive.
I cry and cry, and seek my release...

Hoping that one day, I will find my inner peace...
