I finally take the bother to post this:

If you pm someone and use some " " it puts slashes is please fix this.

If I remember correctly this is the reason:

It's an inconsistency in the way the old system works/worked and how it works today.

It's because it strips slashes on the side it didn't used to, I forgot now and I don't have access to see.

But if I remember your message will send correctly, only the display shows the backslashes.

SomeLuigi is changing in 2015.
