The problem with this would obviously be outgoing connections on the server, not something we want to introduce (because it will stall the server should tons of people use it).

Also, the user should be free to connect to any IRC server.

I don't think it's very adequate for 3DSPlaza considering we already got tons of the 503s. More connections - like IRC - could make things worse.

It's something I was going to code, but in the interests of the server, I decided against it.
