HanShotFirst (2012-12-23 04:18:08)Life and the Big Bang have no correlation, just look at the rest of the solar system for evidence.
The Big Bang, despite being a theory, paints a picture of the beginning of the Solar system.
It did in fact, use something in the creation. The leftover particles of matter from the supernova combined to create a few planets. If our own sun were to explode in a supernova, the leftover particles should, following the same theory, create another Solar System from the remains.
Besides, you said it yourself. If you can't make something from nothing, how did God make everything?

HanShotFirst (2012-12-23 04:20:56)What Enzo meant by life being a side effect was just poor word choice. He more or less intended to say the beginning of life and the beginning of the Milky Way are two separate events.

Enzo (2012-12-23 04:22:29)^ Yes. If you knew me in real life you'd know that I am terrible at explaining things

HanShotFirst (2012-12-23 04:34:19)The explosion didn't make life, it made world you live on.
After several millions of years, the rock cycle created the ground you walk on, a mix of gases created the air you breathe, a combination of elements created the water you bathe with, and your parents 'alone time together' created you.

HanShotFirst (2012-12-23 07:03:47)I just explained the Big Bang on the other page.
The Big Bang is when a sun went supernova, and the remains of that combined to form the Solar system we live in. It's taking the tiny pieces of the big puzzle and rearraging them.
The universe was made from something, and following that same theory, a new solar system would be made when our sun goes Supernova.

HanShotFirst (2012-12-23 07:08:36)Supernova
It means that the sun, just like every star, will eventually explode. The Big Bang explosion left behind quite a mess.

HanShotFirst (2012-12-23 07:20:57)See, this is why I turned to Atheism. If I were to express my interpretation of God, the universe, the very meaning of life itself, I'd create my own religion. That would conflict with my own belief.
I reject your God and I reject your religion, just like everyone else. It's just the mindset Christian practicioners follow that disgusts me. You reject everyone elses Ideals and opinions, even when they have proven more credible than anything in your book, then proceed to destroy their way of life because it's 'God's will' and those who don't follow will suffer and be shunned.
You don't tolerate any other religion because you can't place yourself in any emotionally deep thought of how you live. You don't seek self-improvement, you simply use faith as an excuse to what you think is proper *Cough*Crusades*Cough*Inquisition*CoughCough*
BTW, the Bible is not the word of god, but Man's interpretation of the word of god. As we know, humans aren't the best at interpretating the true meaning of anothers word, thus everything you follow is what Humans believe your 'God' wishes, not what he actually wants.

HanShotFirst (2012-12-23 07:31:09)Read my edit.
Atheism has helped me see clearer, because now I can see from the viewpoint of others and truly understand them. It has dropped down the barrier of 'Ignorance', something you still haven't accomplished.
Even though there are still things I can be ignorant of, It soon becomes replaced by a desire to learn and understand, and to improve myself so I am no longer blind to the thoughts of my fellow humans.

HanShotFirst (2012-12-23 07:47:40)Idiot, I just told you.
I've learned how to understand others and become tolerant of anothers belief, therefore, I don't fear people who are different, I openly accept them when no one else does. I don't care who a person is, what they believe, or where they're from, as long as they aren't demented monsters, I befriend them.
How many people do you think I've made close friendships to?
How much, In my desire to remove ignorance, do you think I've learned?
How hurt am I, when I see news stories such as the Sandy Hook shootings, because I've learned to emphasize with the people affected?

Well actually it makes perfect sense. Besides it didn't directly create life. that was just sort of a side effect.
