The rules below apply to ALL the 3DSPlaza forums. Any post that breaks any rules may be removed and the poster may receive consequences.
Listen to 3DSPlaza Staff and heed what they say. Warnings to stop a certain behavior, whether it's in a forum post, PM, in-chat or a ban message, are serious.
3DSPlaza Staff are NOT exempt from the rules we have for users. They are actually supposed to set the example.
-Don't Post These Threads:
Bias or prejudice against anyone due to race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation; looking for dating partners (it's in the rules, people); alcohol; and/or support of violence, drugs, and/or mature content.
-Don't Post Swearing
Cussing each other out has no place in our community. Attempts to disguise bad language or bypass the language filters will not be tolerated. It's a swear word, even if it is $pe11ed f.u.n.n.y. or has some #$@% symbols in it. If we can tell what swear word it was supposed to be, it's still a swear word, and is not allowed.
-Don't Post Flame Bait and Flames
You're welcome to disagree with another member's opinion, but attacking (flaming) and insulting another member for their beliefs is not acceptable. Also, while you are free to openly express your beliefs and accept the beliefs of others, please refrain from creating threads based on your religious or political beliefs alone. These threads tend to cause arguments, with stubborn and radically-opinionated users debating who is right and who is wrong.
-Don't Post Personal Attacks
A personal attack is when you post about a 3DSPlaza member on the forum and talk about them in a negative way. This includes announcing that someone scammed you, or that somebody is a hacker, or cussing them out. Do not name names or call out other users for bad behavior, report them instead. Linking to their profile is the same as naming their name.
-Don't Post Your Bans
Talking about your bans on the forums is not allowed because it's just a cry for attention. Send your specific ban complaints to either SomeLuigi or me so I can contact Robdeprop if it is really severe.
-Don't Post Spam
Spam means saying the same thing over and over or saying something incomprehensible. If you are going to take the time to post on the forum, make sure that you actually have something relevant to say.
-Don't Post in the Wrong Forum
Each forum has a topic explained in its description. If you are not certain which forum you should post on, PM a forum mod and ask. Posts in the wrong forum may be moved or deleted without warning. Repeat posts may be flagged as spam.
-Don't Re-post Your Deleted Thread
A staff member deleted your thread for a reason. Re-posting it will probably get it deleted again and increase the chance you will receive consequences. What you should do instead is PM a forum mod and ask why your thread was deleted so you can better understand the rules.
-Don't Post in Bad Threads
When you see a bad thread, just report it. Posting in the thread just bumps it and associates your name with the bad content and could get you moderated. Even if your post title and body are OK, you can still get in trouble for posting in a bad thread. Just don't do it. Don't post threads relating to any bad content posted either.
-Don't Be Rude
Rudeness is not welcome. Examples of what not to post, "Get out", "dumb idea", "no support", "no, just no". Those are all rude and not at all helpful.
You are expected to abide by the spirit of these rules we've given you and try to be a good 3DSPlaza member. We cannot list absolutely every little rule and we do not appreciate Rules Lawyers who try to find loopholes to get away with bad behavior.
And of course, the rules on the chatroom page still apply. Let's not have another Fresh Start guys.
