It started when I went to my local Games for Less. I saw no interesting games for my 3DS, so I looked at the high shelves for consoles. Something caught my eye. A Super Nintendo. I was very interested in classic video games, so I took it down, grabbed a game, and walked up to the counted. The guy took the box, was about to scan it, then his eyes popped out. "This.. one? Are you sure? It's not normal.", he said. "Yes, I want it.", I said. "Listen, this system has a story. A guy one day bought this new. Then a day later, he came in torn up, returning the thing. He said that his house was haunted and that he had to move out.", he said. Then I got mad. "Listen, I don't believe in parinormal stuff. If it's so bad, just give it to me for less money.", I said sternly.

I walked out with the "haunted" Super Nintendo and Super Mario All-Stars. I drove home and hooked the thing up. The first thing I noticed was that it was black and red, not white and blue like the box specified. But I got a one of a kind model for free with a game. Why was the guy so scared? I turned it on. It actually didn't start up automatically. It showed a coin from Super Mario Bros. and said "Copyright Super Nintendo Entertainment System" under it. Then it cut to the game select screen. What was wrong with it? Was the ROM chip bad? I scrolled through and saw "Super Mario Bros. Hidden PLAY THIS" So I played it. It did nothing. And the reset button wouldn't push. So I went to my laptop and searched up what the heck was up with the guy. I entered the barcode.

"I bought a Super Nintendo five years ago," a man says. "Then bad stuff happened. I heard my kids scream at night. I ran to their room. They were floating in the air with their shirts grabbed, and there were two floating knives. I heard 'You need to return the system to spare your kids.', so I ran back to Games for Less the next day and returned it."

How dumb. I exited the browser and went back to my SNES. "You fell for it? Haha."
