Hi! just want to put this out there real quick, I am new here and therefore a NOOB on this site. so DO NOT QUESTION MY GENIUS!!! lol
aaaannnnyway this is a topic about my little game-making thing I do. Oh, and at the moment, I do not sell my games anywhere yet. (I hope to though, They are only for windows computers right now, but will start with games for IOS, HTML5, and Mac computers, as soon as I can afford to purchase the additional mods) And they are made with programs called GameMaker 8.1 standard and GameMaker Studio. (I'm sure some of you have heard of those) Well, I made this topic to get ideas from you guys for games, so if you have anything to share (and I mean ANYTHING) please tell! My current games that I am working on are...
Tank WarZ: this game is a top-down 2D shooter where you control a green tank throughout 3 worlds, Desert, Mountain, and forest. you have 360 degree movement and have stats above your tank like HP, remaining Ammunition, and, in some missions, remaining time till failure. there are 3 types of enemies, Turrets, Tanks, and Boss Tanks, which are considerably larger than normal tanks. all enemies are a different color depending on their level with yellow being the most difficult. there will be 35 missions and 4 training missions as well. (NOTE: this game is almost complete and only needs ideas for things like power-up types, and structures, like types of factorys and buildings)
Haunted 3D: this is my first 3D game, you move around a foggy, dark building and try to get out of the building without getting killed by enemies (This is where I need ideas. I'm not sure what kind of enemies/monster-zombies to do!) all you have to survive is a gun, but you have limited ammo, so there are ammo clips scattered throughout the rooms.
The Legends of Gandria and the Orbs of Power: this is probably my biggest game, (it's an RPG) and starts out with a scene where you and a friend are traveling on a raft, leaving your homeland, trying to find a place where you actually fit in, but the raft crashes on rocks and you black out. when you wake up, you are in a village, but your friend isn't there. you visit the duke of this town and find out that your friend left the town on a little quest. but you notice that there are evil creatures everywhere. so you go along on this big adventure to find your friend and rid the land of an evil king who has taken over with the 6 Orbs of power, which will give you new attacks and magic to help you along your journey.
(there is a LOT to do on this game and I will gladly take any ideas you guys may have on anything about it! oh, and it takes place during a knight and wizard style time if you haven't figured it out yet)
