Okay, so recently, I'm seeing this new trend in the forums, called "Bandwagon".

What it is: Apparently, it's people posting pics of themselves in a forum, and people /comment/love/hate/fap/slot to it. Nothing too special.

Who does it: Apparently everybody. From Well-Known users, to lesser known users, to the mods, to the rapists, to the pedos, to that one guy that keeps "bumping" my mailbox every now and then, basically anybody who's anybody on plaza is doing it.

When did it hapen: IDK, Really, Out of nowhere, BOOM, People post pics of themselves faster than Oliver can fap to Zoe. It's just Odd.

Where it happens: Mostly in Misc. forums, although I have seen one in "This Website". But hey, that's where the odd/creepy/pedophilic/spam/crap/hentai/yaoi/complaints are. That's Misc. for you.

Why they do it: Personally, I don't know why, (This rant isn't negative, BTW.) but I think it's just for fun. The way I see it is: On one scale, you can do it just for the Hell of it, Make your presence known, and make othe 3dsplaza members feel more comfortable and more "At Home" within the community. On the other hand, however, it contributes to the Perverted people. For instance, some person may think you're hot, and may actually Fap/Slot To you, without you knowing. Unless you're a Sick Bastard, You really wouldn't want to know someone was fapping to you while you were gone. Also, there ARE pedos/rapists here. They just dusguise themselves as normal users, and trick them to posts pics of them for "Personal Enjoyment". That's just plain ol' damn sick.

How they do it: They basically start a forum, Upload their pic to Lard knows where, copy/paste the pic using a BBCode, then BOOM!

Personally, I see nothing wrong with Bandwagoning. It can be fun, make your presence comfortable, and may cause some users to laugh or lol for the hell of it. The only thing that creeps me out is that they're exposing theirself to the twisted, perverted, Child-p0rn infested place called the internet. Pedo's may fap/slot (Yes, females can be Pedos too. True Fact.) , And do many other things that may just wanna make us upchuck our Chicken Chipotle (Another true fact: If you eat just enough chicken in a food, your poop will be bloody. litterally.) at our Computer/dsi/3ds/Mobile Devices. So, My only warning is, Whenever you bandwagon, ALWAYS be sure to know you're exposing yourself to the perverted, twisted mind called the internet.

Bandwagon just means doing something that a bunch of other people are doing because they are doing it. I.E. "Everyone else is posting a pic of themselves, might as well hop on the bandwagon and post one of me!"

Also, I disapprove of these threads, they're annoying and don't belong in the forums.
They should be posted in profiles, or albums.

Mods used to say that threads about yourself were classified as useless because they only concerned the creator of the thread. I don't know where that mentality went, but I took a liking to it.
The most you can get out of this bandwagon is a bunch of people commenting once about your appearance. Not much of a discussion.
