Yes, I think IGN overrates Pokemon, but their review definitely got my blood rushing with all the praise they lathered on. The medal system in the game is probably what excites me the most, along with the sheer amount of content.

B/W's only real problem was that it was lacking a good amount of compelling post Elite Four content, B/W 2 however, seems to be going content crazy.

@pooface-What did they say about Platinum and Emerald? If they didn't say what they said about B/W 2, they have issues.

Edit: Right, Emerald and Platinum weren't claiming to be sequels. Still, I think the new story justifies the 2.

@Ron & diazbro-Yet you both got NSMB 2, a game that is a far larger rehash, and has far less content.

Aha, Platinum. Rented it for the first time, and loved it. Still have Emerald to play.

Anyway, I hope this game will be good. B/W kinda seemed short.

Please, the new generation greatly sucks. NSMB 2 isn't a rehash, it's a whole new game, and I would know because I actually have the game. @Pikarceus

@Ron-B/W were the firsr Pokemon games to actually have a worthwhile story, not to mention the first Pokemon games to really push the system they were on. The only problem I had with them were some of the odd Pokemon, but overall, job well done.

And don't give me any garbage about NSMB 2, I know pretty much everything that is in it, and it is a gigantic rehash and has an extremely poor amount of content.

I haven't played it enough to judge the gameplay, which I am sure is fine, but content wise, the game is very poor, and yes it is a rehash.

I would take you seriously but you don't own a single non-Nintendo game for your 3DS.
