8 MP camera, 320ppi, taller screen, 1080p face time, "thinnest smart phone ever", yada yada yada yada. Oh and Apple also announced a new iPod Nano and iPod Touch. Both lag behind in specs compared to the new iPhone though.

Nintendo doesn't have to do anything. It doesn't compete with Apple. Apple is an innovative technology company. Nintendo is a videogame company. Why would you want the WiiU to compete with a smartphone?

Apple is not and will not be a portable gaming company, period. They're busy making iDevices such as music/video players, smartphones and tablets and operating systems.

You guys fail to realize how many consumers Apple has taken from Nintendo. Tons of people game on Ipads, Ipods, and Iphones, like my sister, for instance. And her friends and her friends friends.

Millios of people game on these things, instead of Nintendo 3DS.

They are competing. TWEWEY, Professor Layton, and the Rhythm Thief iOS ports are proof of this.
