A ZombieU dev called the Wii U the "same" as PS3/360, he said in a couple years Wii U games will look as good as the best 360/PS3 games.

So much for next gen console, we have another Wii on our hands. Out of all the devs that have commented on the Wii U's power, 1 said it is weaker than PS3/360, 1 said it was much better(1.5 or 2x, I forget), and most have said it is the same, or slighty better. *sigh*

The Wii U actually has better graphics processing than the xbox 360, and the ps3. The Wii U supports 1080p, where as the xbox 360 and ps3, only support 720p.

ps3\360 games weren't made for 1080p on the other hand Wii U does. For Ps3 and 360 1080p really push the system. When both of those launched 6 years ago they were running at 480p because they didnt know the hardware yet. With Wii U they will begin with 720p and some 1080p. It will take time for developers to know the system and really use it. Pikmin will run at 720p but third party games will be 1080p
