Okay, so for the newly-introduced SLCodes/Chat Codes, you have to use something like this:

Not many people like to type these, including me.

So, here is a poll to suggest different symbols.

Rule:
-> The symbol must be accessible on QWERTY-keyboards aswell as on the 3DS/DSi Keyboards without tabbing elsewhere (so [ cannot be used, because it was removed from the main keyboard on 3DS)

Example for an red colour in the chat &red TEXT = TEXT
&Color Here

@ = Link identification
/ Name identification

@=LINK HERE /NAME

* for Underline bolt etc

&COLOR For an color

@LINK/NAME For an name that links to the chosen link if you touch/click on it

* For Underline Bolt and Striked
