I made this story based off sonething I read a couple years ago.
This is my first attempt at writing a story, so it may fail
My grandfather worked at an antique store. It was filled with old dusty stuff that I can't believe people actually buy. My mother and father were out on a "romantic vacation", so I was stuck with grandpa until they came back. Grandpa had opened the antique store, he said I could look on the store shelves and find something to entertain myself.
I looked on the shelves, counter, storage. Nothing but dusty old picture frames and lame kiddie toys. So I just pulled out a chair and sat by the wall. I looked up and saw a door. An attic door. I asked grandpa if he could open it and he got a ladder and pulled it open. He told me that he's never been in there and to be careful. I climbed up the ladder and jumped in. The room looked old, not suprising. There was a dusty couch, lamp, rug and a coffee table.
There was a small box laying upon the coffee table. I walked up to it and picked it up. It read "Secret Puzzle". Being bored, I opened it and dumped out the pieces. I started with the border and went in. Funny.. That looks like the lamp in the room. Must be a coincidence. I continued anyways. Then, I saw the same exact couch. It was getting a little creepy..
The rug.. The coffee table. I had a few pieces left. I pushed in the last piece.. Was that me? In the puzzle? I got scared and tried to open the attic door. It wasn't there! I banged on the floor. The walls started melting. No.. They weren't melting.
It was some liquid seeping down the walls. I swiped my finger accross the wall. The liquid was a dark red. Blood? I sniffed it and it smelled of rust and salt. Yes, blood. My heart started pounding in my ears. My chest got heavy and I realized I was on the ground and a huge foot was on my chest. I looked up and a man wearing a black mask was holding a hand saw. I gasped and he attacked. Blood splattered on the couch and the puzzle pieces fell off the table.
Next morning, the antique store dissapeared. As if it never existed. The grandpa was found hanging from an apple tree far from the little town they lived in. The parents never came back.
In a few years, an antique store opened in another little town.
It was owned by an old man, and his grandaughter was about to visit.
YEAH! Finished. So, comment and stuff down below. It sucked, because I'm not good at scaring people. Images coming soon.
