The Mario Kart series has always been very popular, and of course, Nintendo decided also to make one for the Nintendo 3DS: Mario Kart 7


It features a partially new gameplay, which involves driving underwater and flying.

There are 16 brand new courses, and also a lot of earlier ones. A special race is Wuhu Island: You won't have to drive three laps on this track, but just one very long lap.

New characters are also being introduced. Nintendo is thinking of making Metal Mario and Lakitu (the guy who always gets you back on the track if you fall) playable characters.

Another new feature is the pit gameplay. In this mode, you see the race through your characters eyes and you steer by tilting you Nintendo 3DS system.

Yes, it does have online play. Up to eight players can race together online, and it features communities.

AND You'll be able to send and receive ghost data via spotpass.

Also, you can race online against people you met via streetpass.
