According to TV Tropes , Notch planned to add Herobrine to the game at one point. He has since declared that he has no plans to actually do it. . Or does he? If he does/did, he may not mention it, to add to the mystery.
'The Mystery and the Joy of Herobrine' story is believed to have been uploaded by the Herobrine player himself, but in a different view, not herobrine's point of view. Due to Herobrine is a CPU Strangely, Notch has updated him to have NO Nameplate, and of course 100% not showing you he's joined your game. He's been designed to hack into your minecraft game/server and create maps, and kill you in minecraft. Whoever plays Herobrine in minecraft - Reveal yourself.
