New users often get ignored by members in a chat. I agree that we, the members, form the 3DSPlaza community. And if one discommunicates, we all do.

I, Barry, try to respond to as much members as possible, if they say my name, or if I see someone say Hello. And ofcourse as chat moderator to respond at bad behaviour.


Its just impossible to keep repeating to say this each and every time someone just enters or is greeting/asking me something. To be honest, I'm pretty lazy or not in the mood to repeat this over and over and over...

But I have an assignment to forfill. I am supposed to give a 'good' example. And I am needed to help all members, with assistance of my co-workers.

But you shouldn't be a moderator to help members. Users are part of this community, and if you care for this community, you will work on the flaws. Did you know that becoming a moderator is about helping others? This is very important.

So, when you see a new member, or someone saying hello to you, just try to respond back, even if its once a day. Assisting new members will give you a happy feeling.

Ha ha ha. Look, if a new user has half a brain, within two weeks they have tons of friends. I see it happen all the time. A lot of them don't have friends because they simply don't deserve any. I try replying to people in chat, but like Shinestar says, most noobs just piss me off too. I'll help people who actually want help and ask nicely and intelligently. It is extremely easy to make friends and find help here, if a person can't, I really don't have much sympathy for them.

I always say "hi!" when a user comes into the chat room and says "hi."
