There are people who construct whole arguments and stories without using words (and frankly, it's as impressive as it is depressing), people who use emoticons on every damn post... The fact that I use them sparingly, and only when I believe the situation needs it, shows a great extent of self-control in comparison.

Seriously, tho, how have you survived? If one emoticon every so often bothers you that much, I can't imagine your head not exploding after seeing wave after wave of them everywhere else.

It's one thing in texting. But during like, forum posts? No. Forums are for people to type some thoughty , not rawr at their buddies. I can handle it in the chats, or in texting. But if you really need to make something less serious, while also conveying a comical aspect of your sentence, say "lol" instead of ""

Off-topic, but damn, look how much attention a poorly-written thread about left-wing political propaganda is getting. My faith in this generation was bad enough before the creation of this thread, but now, it's gone straight down the ter, begging to be put out of its misery all along the way.

Anybody on ing 3dsplaza that brings up politics is obviously a twelve year old trying to look smart, but in reality is trying to talk about politics on a 3ds fansite to a bunch of people who aren't even old enough to vote yet, and have no idea what socialism even is.
