Yeah, there was a time when people used to move to Nassau country for the same reason people go to the Hamptons today lol. I've seen a lot of better development because of this issue in the last ten years along coastal towns, which is really nice. But infrastructure is extremely expensive here and half of the island is already past the point of no return. Can't dig up the rotting and leeching cesspools, we're NEVER going to get a connected sewage system here.

I doubt your town is smaller than mine. Its not that bad living in a small town. It's kinda nice at times.
