Does this thread have so many comments because of spam or something?

Anyway, it would be easier to moderate the forums if they had less parts, right?

It's as I feared. You didn't understand a word I just said, did you?

Alright, refer to my previous comment and apply the basic rules of economy. When given a limited supply of an unrenewable resource (in this case, time and/or effort) what you are to do with it is quite simple, yet at the same time easier said than done. You're supposed to use this raw material to produce something more valuable than what you started out with. I don't need to tell you what the right thing to do with this is because it's not important. What is important is the wrong way to do it. Again, this is very simple. You need only to prduce something less valuable than what you started out with. Essentially, this would mean that the product of your precious resources, not to mention your blood and sweat, is a waste. So let's stop and ask ourselves what effects your proposition would be. The question of whether less is more or just plain less is not up for discussion. The questions we need to ask (and answer correctly) are those concerning the condition of the forums and the well-being of its users. How exactly will the idea being proposed here improve our standard of living condition? I've already established that the forums sections which you wish to do away with in no way negatively affect the forums as a whole or anyone. This is crucial, because from this assertion I can deduce that removing them would result in no benefits. Nothing can be gained from this.

What about the satisfaction of having your idea implemented, you might ask?
Here's a better question: Once your vision has come to fruition, does the final product hold more value than what it cost to have been produced, and do the ends justify the means?

Here's a simpler one: If one day you wake up and find out that Rob made a new chatroom, or removed an entire forum section, wouldn't you have preferred for him to have added something useful such as a strike system for all moderators, or removed something that we all hated?

Jesus.

The fact that we are treating attention from the owners as a valuable resource is evidence of the site's poor condition. Anyways, I agree with you, Carlos. I'd prefer to see Rob add something like a strike system rather than remove a few forums. That still doesn't change the fact those forums are inactive and taking up space.

Yes, that's what I was getting at. Attention from the owners is just priceless now since it is so scarce. A request to have anything done never gets through.

Ah, so you say that these forum sections are taking up space? But does that matter? To answer that question, we need to know 2 things:
1.) If space is limited.
2.) Given that it is limited, what proportion of it is already used up.

I don't know the answer to either of those questions, but if we have a LOT of space, then that would hurt the validity of your claim.

I guess so. I did some research, and it appears that Plaza's host is Go Daddy. I have no idea what their package is though.

So that's that.

Can you r8, m8?
On a scale of 1 to 8, how on point was my argument?
