BioMan8 (2014-04-04 04:57:38)"Us Rhode Islanders have a mix of boston and pirate speak, I swear. I noticed we leave our "R's" out or don't use them at all, and all our vowels are either short, or clipped...."
I'm not sure where in Rhode Island you live, but we don't talk similarly to that of a pirate. Along with that, our vowels are pronounced regularly. None of them are clipped or shortened. As for excluding our "R"s, that's a Boston accent.
LincolnN9neN9ne (2014-04-05 03:26:22)I would want a British accent.

little5 (2014-04-05 13:34:26)I ain't got no time to put up with this.
Ain't nobody finna do that.
All southern accenters.. I would like to know how we came up with "finna" from fixing to..
I think they put "fixing to" and "gonna" together.
Gonna=going to
Only we southerners will understand "finna"
OtherSilhouette (2014-04-06 03:02:00)I would want a sort of boston british accent. Sort of like Wheatley from Portal 2.
carlos11 (2014-04-06 05:12:53)If you watch TV or movies, that's the accent I have. It's default English to me.
What I mean is that people want to hear it, and speak that way. Is there a name for this accent?
