Dragnet (2012-12-16 02:50:12)Look, kid. "Hunting down" was a hyperbole. I don't know how in the world your strange little mind got "I'm going to be horribly biased and delete everyone's threads except people I like" out of that, but rest assured, I won't be doing anything of the sort. I don't care if it's made by the newest user or Robdeprop himself, I will close or remove any off-topic post or completely useless thread I see. There's your logical answer. Happy?

What I wanna know is where's the caveman
Dragnet (2012-12-16 23:53:05)Because they didn't provide any facts supporting their case, and mainly made no sense. If you're going to go against something, at least put some facts behind it. Otherwise, you're just spouting nonsense.

HanShotFirst (2012-12-17 01:01:44)Pooface has a point.
Back on the topic of this thread, I'd have to disagree. In real life, conversations tend to ramble or go off on a tangent. It's generally unavoidable. The same goes for posts on a forum, which are generally part of a conversation.
On the other hand, there's a difference between going off on a tangent and being off topic. When a conversation goes off on a tangent, it just means the topic of the current conversation has changed. Going off topic is posting something completely unrelated to the current discussion. I'll use the Brony thread as an example.
On a tangent: Discussion shifts from MLP's voice actors to 'Drawn Together' (One of the Voice actors also does the voice of Princess Tara). While the next page of posts have nothing to do with MLP, the posts can still count because it's part of the current conversation. The line is drawn however, when the thread doesn't return back to the original topic, since it shouldn't take two days of posting for someone to make another MLP-related post.
Off Topic: Making a post about Ice cream, with nothing prompting it whatsoever. The discussion then continues to discuss Ice cream, making the next page of posts pointless. The posters then don't return to the original topic, thus eliminating the purpose of the thread.

gamergirl7 (2012-12-24 06:27:58)This is why I hate mods, they're just a bunch of jearks that think they can do whatever they want. I once ran into a mod who made me leave a chatroom without any reason. That's mods for you. I don't care if I get banned for saying that.
HanShotFirst (2012-12-24 16:51:36)^ Not the thread for this. How about reading the Original Post?
