So, I deleted a bunch of things and my PC's sound won't work and this adware called CloudScot has been appearing on certain websites.

Can somebody help me? This appeared out of no where. It says "No Audio Output Device is installed on this computer". I know it's most likely Malware.

EDIT: I've fixed my sound problem. I've tried to get rid of CloudScout but I just can't. It refuses to die.

You probably uninstalled the drivers for your speakers. I really want to call you an imbecile.

You should try to re-install the drivers either way.

If you really think it's malware... Download something called "Malwarebytes"

Why are you always having PC problems
BaNaNa (2015-03-02 04:50:45)
Because he's been making his own OS. With hookers and blackjack.

@DrakeJericho
Uninstallation programmes.

I've used both AVG and Malwarebytes. Nothing is working.

Alright, I've got my Adware problem out the way. How do I reinstall an audio output driver?

EDIT: The adware is still there, but I know how to solve it.

I've done six scans with both AVG and Malwarebytes.
I've followed the steps of several tutorials.
CloudScout refuses to go away.

Audio has been fixed.

Antivirus/antimalware programs don't actually work like you'd expect.

If you want to get the viruses/malware gone permanently, you have to mess with the computer's files manually.

For Windows Vista/7/8/10
Look in C: and both of the "Program Files" folders. Delete anything you find suspicious, especially CloudScout or mobogenie.

Delete all files that you don't want, then go to "Programs and Features" in the Control Panel and then double-click any program you wish to uninstall.

Be sure to look at your web browser's Extensions and uninstall any extensions you may find threatening.

Problem solved.

Hold F1 on start up, boot in safemode, delete the malware.
