This is a great thing yet it also sucks. What do you guys think about this? Do you think they meant at LEAST 5 more years? or, at MOST 5 more years?

The show could take a turn for the worse like Spongebob did, the newer episodes are god awful.

It's interesting how you're asking for our, non-brony, opinion. I'd have to say Carter's right, Hasbro has plans for the near future, in this case, the next 5 years, but that doesn't necessarily mean that's it. Beyond 5 years is simply what I'd call "uncharted" territory.

Well if you watch review vids you know that, HASBRO/DHX IS BRILLIANT! i mean, how the h could they possibly run out of ideas for episodes? yes they could very easily run out of moral/lessons but not ideas.

@Carter sorry but I just can't agree. I absolutely love the mane 6, and would hate to see them go. But that's your own opinion and I respect. Although I would have no problem with them adding new characters and keeping the mane 6.

They probably renewed it for 5 more years.

Incase you didn't know, TV shows get renewed for more seasons based on the ratings. If the ratings are decent, The contract gets renewed for X amount of seasons. The problem is, TV shows that go long enough start to lower in quality *Cough*TheSimpons,FamilyGuy,Spongebob*cough* and eventually people get bored of it.

And I already started noticing the amount of ponies on the internet decreasing VERY slowly, so..
