You are aware that you never notice having an accent, due to the people around you having that same accent. Go anywhere else, and to the natives there, You're the one with an accent.

Hell, here in New york every borough has it's own accent. You can tell a Bronxite from a Brooklyner, from a Queensite, from a Matthattenite, from a Long Islander.

That's just the city. Wait until you head upstate.....

Us Rhode Islanders have a mix of boston and pirate speak, I swear. I noticed we leave our "R's" out or don't use them at all, and all our vowels are either short, or clipped....

Probably sleeping, probably eating.
