They aren't 'stupid'. It's not like it's meant to be like a Nintendo game with a storyline and such. It's simply made to pass time when you're bored.

It's a fun little time killer. I just downloaded it today, so my understandably low high score is 16. I laugh at all the other people playing and getting angry as heck; I don't understand their frustration, tho. As many deaths as I've had since download, it's never made me want to chuck my S4, and has rather, in fact, amused me. 'LOL, that bird just got totally killed by hitting a pipe at 2 kph! WTF!'
