Protip: making a thread that says "u shud make me a mud bcuz im old and i wanna be" won't get you mod status.

Also, you act like the spam isn't a problem, when something obviously needs to happen about it. Something like a one thread per hour limit being instituted would be a good start. It would cut back on a major amount of the spam, and who's really going to need to post more than one thread per hour with how slow these forums move? Maybe one thread for each subforum per hour, idk. And I think something similar to Splashiverse's confirming system for users would come in handy. There would of course be ways someone would find to get around these filters, but it would block out a major amount of the spam for a certain amount of time.
