Novastripe frowns. "Hm? Was she destined to be...something else?" She shuffled her paws a bit, "I don't mean to pry..."

I sigh. "In the older clan, I was an apprentice to a medicine cat..." I say, the fox nodding in approval. The fox finally decided to greet herself. "I'm Romina."

She dips her head in respect as the fox introduces herself.

Romina looks at Novastripe, then me. "Can I stay here, or would I be a threat? I do know the Warrior ways and maybe I could help..."

Novastripe smiled. "It would be...weird...at first, but once we got used to it, having a fox in the camp could be useful." She laughed. "never in a million moons would I ever think I'd say that!"

I laughed alongside Novatripe. "Romana will sleep in my den with me, as to not startle the other warriors and kits any more..."

Novastripe dipped her head. "As you wish."

She glanced out of the den to see the sun closing in on the horizon, and the dusk patrols heading out. "I'm gonna go join a patrol," she says. "I'll be back to help introduce Romana to the clan later."

She bounded off to catch the patrol as they left.

-Hollyfeather pads in camp she has a vole and rabbit in her mouth then she pauses and growls at Romana- "Fox in camp!"she yowls and she stands her ground

Later in the afternoon, Novastripe returns, a squirell she had caught in her jaws. She dropped it off. Since it was a border patrol, no one else had brought prey back.
