@DarkHarvest Tirek is based on the one from Generation 1. Much like how Applejack is based on the one on Generation 1.
Also, to me, Tirek reminds me of a number of villains. Examples:
Hades from Kid Icarus: Uprising
Trigon
Xemnas
Ch'rell aka The Shredder
Nightmare from Kirby
Black Doom
Unicron
Vaatu
Demise

I ask because I found a list of the top 7 BA cartoon villains who are defeated by retarded heroes and the original tirek made #1. He sorta looks like the goat incarnation of the devil they had on the page.
