I've seen dubs where they just throw matching the voices with the mouths to the wind. It was really present in Angel Beats.

The dub was awfully synced at the beginning, but slowly got better. I'll probably watch the series again later in sub like Spencer, I've been enjoying the hell out of this anime.

Also should I watch EoE before or after episodes 25 and 26?

Woah, I finished EoE a few minutes ago and
Solar's still on ep. 4 show
 I had no idea what was going on at the end, I knew episodes 25 and 26 were there at the end but I was still confused as hell. I saw an explanation that makes a lot of sense though, that Shinji first wanted everyone to become a god so they couldn't feel pain but realized without pain they couldn't be happy so once each person realizes who they really are they can escape that false reality.


Also the ED gives me a weird feeling every time I listen to it now, I can't really describe it.

One theory about Shinji choking Asuka is that he wanted to prove that this was reality and that Asuka said "disgusting" at the end because of when he jacked off to her in the first scene. That's probably not the full answer since the theory is complicated as though.
