I am completely against marijuana for "recreational" purposes, but there is no reason for hemp to be illegal. No rational reason. It should all be legal, the smoking just needs an age restriction.

While I was in Colorado over the summer break, my grandmother took three of my siblings, the oldest one being 11 at the time, into a place called "The Hemp Store."

Her reasoning: She wanted to buy a present for my uncle "because he loves hemp."

They always say to respect your elders for their wisdom. Who made that saying up? Other elders?

As long as the punishment is not a lethal threat(Smashing kid's head against wall) or falls under strange and unusual punishment(forcing kid to drink hot sauce), it's legal.

It's still a crappy way to raise a child, though.
