Honestly, I couldn't care less if being gay was normal or not. I'm kind of on the fence, because both sides have good arguments. What I care about more is how one side likes to discriminate and ridicule on the basis that it's bad, unnatural, an epidemic—something we have, have, have, HAVE got to fix. If it occurs in nature (reminder that humans are animals, too), it's natural. Homosexuality is natural, but is it normal? Nobody knows for sure. It would make sense for them to care for orphaned babies while the other animals mate/care for their own offspring.
And like Panzer said, there's no difference between a hetero-brain and a homo-brain.
If we ever truly find out if being gay is normal or not, and it happens to be abnormal, I hope it's kept on the down-low. Homosexual persecution would go sky-high. But then, I guess they'd be covered under some kind of law that keeps people from discrinating against the mentally ill. Still, the law won't stop lawbreakers when it comes to violence and other major offenses.
