DeathKid (2015-05-17 15:48:58)It's really just not a good game, you just repeat a set of menial tasks while waiting to get jumpscared. However, because people on Youtube seem to enjoy watching people scream at jumpscares (ie Slender, Amnesia, any of the low effort jumpscare filled horror games) it has a kind of infectious popularity where to get away from it most people would have to clear out almost all their subscriptions, so you can't really just "ignore it." Added to that is the fact that 4 of them have been released in less than a year, so it adds even more to the spam of this game people get on Youtube. Also, because of the juvenile audiences the average Youtuber attracts, the fanbase consists largely of children, which gets on a lot of people's nerves because children often act in a largely immature way.

It's an indie game made with Clickteam fusion, they're easier to produce quicker as long as you already know what you want to do with it.

Also, jump scares are pretty much what the game is known for. The actual number of games or why wasn't really relevant to the point, i'm just saying he's released a lot of them in a short time frame.
