I took Algebra 2 Trig last year, but I'm not taking Pre-Calc because I'm already getting math credit from some of my engineering classes. Digital Electronics gave me one math credit, and Principles of Engineering counts as one math credit, as well as actually utilizing trigonometry and physics.

Also, I personally can't blame the teachers or education system for "bad grades", but it seems some kids just don't care about going to school. There are some students at my high school who constantly skip certain classes or get in trouble simply because they don't give a

about school. The best part is that these kids are the ones who don't end up walking out for graduation and end up not getting their diploma.

You won't see me here, but you might find me if you look in the right places.

@Kishy No, I did care. I just don't anymore. What's the point in complaining about it if you know it's an obvious lie? Specially trying to explain it to BirdJesus and YMAS.

Carter, it sounds to me that your school didn't prepare you for Calculus.

I learned trig when I was a freshman in Geometry. All the other things you mentioned are just Algebra. It's not that America dumbed down the courses, your classes just didn't cover the appropriate material.
Then again, I am top tier in Math, so...
