Drinking isn't bad, as long as you don't drink too much or too often. A few beers over the course of a couple hours won't turn you into a complete idiot.

Note: I don't drink, not because it's "bad", but because alcohol makes me really sick (even in small amounts).

Wine allegedly has health benefits...if you're against alcohol for the damage it can do, you should probably be against sodas and other high-sugar beverages because that could be even worse for your health.
I think we can agree having soft drinks within reason is okay, and the same should go for alcohol. As long as you're not getting drunk, it's not necessarily stupid...but to each his own.

As for underage drinking, in many states it's legal to consume alcohol within private residences and with parent/gaurdian supervision. As long as you don't drive or drink in public (whether you're drunk or not), it could very well be legal to underage drink.

Yes, I'm aware of the fact. Just because the majority of people do something, that doesn't make it the right thing to do.
But it's not wrong either.

Depending on the person. Some people get addicted to alcohol pretty darn easily.

Sort of. My idea is more or less someone simply drinking 2 or 3 glasses of poison alcohol in order to "loosen the atmosphere".
Three glasses won't kill you, or make you drunk unless it's straight alcohol, or you're really small.

Just because it's not unusual, that doesn't mean it's a good thing.
Again, it's not a bad thing.

I suppose people just absolutely love the taste of it then? And the taste is the primary reason they drink it? Yeah, don't kid yourself, friend. People drink it to manipulate their brains into loosening up.
Wine tastes great. You've probably never had it.
And if you're drinking just to "loosen up" it's no worse than any pill you could take to relieve stress (if anything it's better because it's not full of chemicals). "Loosening up" is different from getting totally hammered.

Oh, and this will be my last argument on the subject. People don't like to be told what they love is bad. There really is no arguing against alcohol with a drinker. There really isn't.
And there's really no way for you to argue without you doing your research on the matter.
You're also accusing someone of being a drunkard, which is really uncalled for.

By the way, I wouldn't be surprised if you think marijuana is okay too.
It really is. It helps relieve stress better than any pill could, and the side effects aren't half as bad. As long as getting baked isn't a daily thing, you should be fine.
