Why would we rehabilitate useless wastes. We need to do everything in our power to bring the population below carrying capacity, including not wasting resources and money on rehabilitating parasites that suck the life from society and the planet.

And the whole point of being a productive member of society is to be one that is worth their weight in resources per capita. Unless they go commit suicide, they're not being productive. Also, someone on death row committed a heinous crime. It doesn't matter how well they can be rehabilitated at that point. They still need to be punished.

i.e. it costs way less to kill a person.
Where are we supposed to get the money to implement your lil gun control laws if we're wasting it?

On the topic of stoners, someone said that if you resort to using drugs to be happy, then that's pathetic. Kid, you have no idea what life has in store for you in the future. Not that I do. Still, you are in no position to think that handling your sadness by using marijuana or something (as long as it isn't harming anyone else that is) is "pathetic". I have a friend who is 18 years old and has gone through a world of pain and probably still is now. She goes around the school, going out of her way to help OTHER people with THEIR problems. She is succesful. I've heard her discuss things with an aquaintance before, giving her suggestions on how to fix a problem. From that, I could tell she is extremely intelligent and would probably make a great counselor.

She has depression. What does she say she does to help her keep her emotions under control and her head clear? Marijuana. Explain why that is pathetic.

I imagine that this great person's advice is not "smoke weed every day". If she can help other people with their problems without recommending drugs, assuming she doesn't, then her drug consumption is a statement- of her being pathetic. It says of herself that when the going gets tough, do drugs. When problems are too difficult to overcome, smoke weed. If you're legitimately depressed, blaze it.

What a wonderful person.
