Alright, I think it's time I give my own two cents.

A lot if soldiers are people who dropped out of school or failed. Even a cringe worthy 40% of males in my school say they are "just going to join the army". Why? Because they can't make it to a good college. They were too lazy to be successful and saw the option they plan to take as the easy way out. Don't get me wrong, this doesn't apply to ALL people in the military. Being part of it doesn't automatically make you a "hero" though. I'm not one of those who over glorifies the troops just because everyone else does, but I can't help but feel bad for those who have gotten injured in wars. If in their minds they think they're doing a good thing, doesn't that make them good people even if you disagree? Still, that doesn't apply to everyone. Some people in the military can be douche bags.

However, saying that they are someone who shouldn't be supported just because they work for the government is ridiculous. Do you think every single person working in the government is a power hungry and money sucking bastard? Every single one of them? Don't be an idiot. The troops are not "used only to get money". Do your damn research or at least give some examples. No, posting a link to some article on Wikipedia that you probably didn't even read yourself does not count as examples.

Not trying to be mean or anything. I'm not angry in the slightest. Just giving my two cents.

Oh nvm I think you meant to ad the word "not" before going to college. If that's the case, no, that's not an excuse. That's actually my point when I say that a lot of people in the military are lazy douchebags but some THINK they are doing the right thing and didn't fail miserably in school.

Either way, you shouldn't hate or love the troops in general. That's like saying "men are idiots". It doesn't make sense. A man can be an idiot, but not "men" in general.

2. Stop posting links to articles and actually say your examples yourself if you really even understand the oil thing because it seems like you don't really have a clue what's going on.

3. I don't see how the whole oil thing is "evidence" that none of the troops should be supported at all. You should elaborate.

I never said taking their oil was not a bad thing. However, it doesn't make the troops the ass holes. They don't make the orders. They follow them. Still, not every single one thinks that it's the wrong thing to do. That doesn't make them evil in the slightest.

Wowow I don't go on here a lot. Anyway I've read the comments and watched the video, and the video does have a good point. Killing people for money is a hitman, and that really isn't a good role model.
