If you already have fur coats then so be it. They shouldn't mess up something you payed for and already have..

I don't support the fur industry though, but it's still not fair to mess up something they already have. The animal is already dead. You can't put it back together with it's fur. If you mess up their coat, then you'd make them want another one..

Amirite?

I feel like I should be I'm this debate..

I know a lot about this subject, it's one of my most favorite things to debate about.

I know the process of how they kill chickens around here, workers have told me how they do it. By workers I mean relatives that used to/do work at chicken plants.

Tree already explained the farms.. I'll explain how they are at the plant.

They break the chicken's legs to keep them from running away. Hundreds of them are stuffed into the back of the trucks with 2-4 in a tiny cage. Blahblahblah.

Then they're taken inside the plant where they're shocked which paralyses/kills them (I don't think it kills them all the time, though). They then break the neck. Next they're dipped in scalding hot water. After that, they cut the head off.

Next begins the cleaning of the meat. \

I may have gotten the process wrong.. I haven't asked anything about it in a long time..

You have a point, but that doesn't make it ok. The Belgian Congo holocaust killed over 100,000,00, but doe's that make it ok because of the 6 million killed in the nazi holocaust?

I admit that I made a fatal mistake in blowing up like that, but, hey, my username is Treehugger.

I feel very strongly about this cause. I'm not some vegetarian eco-warrior, but I care enough to get frustrated over this.
I apologize for setting a bad example, and, as you can see, I've edited out my own comments so other users don't have to see.
Espace, I hope you screenshot me correcting my mistakes, as well, because ~~unlike you~~ I'm willing to admit when I've gone too far.

And I don't think you guys want a lengthy explanation of why I get so mad over little things, so, to sum it up, I was raised to be angry.
