I was using Genesis 1:28 as an example against abortion. The verse right before it says "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." Genetic engineering is man recreating himself in his own perverse image.

Also. I'm not even going to address the other thing, but I will say this; putting words in my mouth is one of the few ways to make me think an argument isn't worth it and decide not to bother.

Clearly, fixing those, along with giving them desirable traits is clearly not going to make them grow up thinking they've been done some sort of injustice by not having a choice.

That sounds terrible.. Not to mention, people are going to get pregnant regardless of the government.. And snatching kids away/forced abortion sounds terrible. Aging doesn't need to be solved either.

Okay, you see, literally everything that's not mentally ill wants to stay alive. We're not the ones denying people of life, nature is, and there's good reason. If we're gonna keep people around for longer than normal, then we should have a person like The Giver.. A living history book. That'd be cool. If we're going to be defying the laws of nature then let's get rid of periods too.

I've read over Genesis 1:28 several times and I still see no indication that God would get his panties in a bunch over genetic engineering. But you've taken up trolling as a hobby recently so maybe I wasn't supposed to take your comments seriously. On an unrelated note, I'm also starting to see more clearly now why some of the most intelligent users are becoming so cynical here.
