Usually the most common thing is that aces haven't met the right person, or that they're actually "homosexuals in denial." Not to mention they're also considered a minority in sexual orientation.
My big issue with aces is that they break it all down into specific subcategories. I think asexual and aromantic is enough to describe aces, but breaking down further into things like "demisexual" and "grey-sexual" gets a bit tedious.
