UnhingedTool (2015-08-06 04:08:03)
Cartoon network in the 1990's was awesome, now, not so much.

Don't get me started worth Nickelodeon.

Lolno

Anyway, I've sat through the first episode and it's clear to me that it's extremely overrated. It's rather boring and....weird. The characters are bland, there's hardly any plot whatsoever, humor is...nonexistent (at least by my standards). Typical CN stuff. Sorry I just don't get how people are so attached to it. Enjoying it? Fine, I can see how it entertains a certain crowd, however I just can't understand how it developed an actual fanbase.

And before someone says: "you haven't seen enough episodes" Why would I? If a series is good, the first episode is going to have to intrigue me enough to move on, and so on....unless I'm bored to the end of the world, I wouldn't ever plan on watching SU again.

UnhingedTool, WWT, pls stfu. Actual 90s' kids are 17-20 right now. 90s' cartoons were no better than they are now, yeah, some cartoons and channels (*cough*Nick*cough*) deteriorated over time, but that's inevitable for anything. Producers/creators leave, and companies aren't gonna discontinue supporting franchises that bring them a bunch of cha-ching. Blame the jews. There's still plenty of jewels out there, there not even hard to find. You nuts just don't bother looking for them because of your oh-so beloved, "epitome of perfection" : 90s' cartoons. Being a hipster is old, you were supposed to jump off the bandwagon and remove your glasses two years ago, dude. Actual 90s' teens said this themselves about their own cartoons. Even if you did watch a few shows, it's unlikely they'd actually entertain you, although they're family shows, they're still targeted to younger audiences. Little kids will be entertained by anything. If you were still 8 and watching these cartoons in the 90s, you'd probably love it as much as you love the rest, unless, of course, you find it "too girly". When I was younger, I found older shows as well as newer shows to both be good. You're just blinded by nostalgia. It's even been proven that your brain tends to cancel out all the bad times in what you consider to be "the good ol' days", no matter how annoying you thought it to be at the time.

You know all I wanted was to talk about my favorite show and how it was so cute (possibly find someone to fuse with ahahah). Then I see all of these negative comments and I'm like, "ok, fite me."

And so, it's not okay to bag on someone else's opinion (*ahem* people that don't think SU is that great of a show) and it's not okay to push your opinion onto someone else (*ahem* people that actually like SU) .

^
Both of those started in 1999, neither of them barely count, if at all, as a 90s' cartoon.
UnhingedTool (2015-08-06 18:24:12)
They're still the , not like the retarded stuff now. The shows keep getting less mature.
Ayy Lmao.
little5 (2015-08-06 23:44:28)

UnhingedTool (2015-08-07 00:13:03)

@UnhingedTool

The same type of maturity and humor exist in today's cartoons. The only reason you don't like them is because you're blinded by nostalgia.
