Many choose Beats because of the appearance. They would buy Beats whether it cost a million dollars or higher.
But with headphones that are below $100, they are much better than Beats. I know some people who purchase Beats but rarely use them, rather just putting wearing it around their neck all day.

Plus Beats are more likely to get stolen than your ear buds, which makes your ear buds even better, despite being 20 times less expensive than Beats

I never tried Beats, but I think the headphones that came with my Guitar Amp are better. It's that Fender one. ._.

SkullCandy has nice earbuds, too bad they're "expensive" and break easily.



On a side note I messed with some headphones recently and used working parts of broken headphones to make a decent pair.
