If so, I'd predict this Tetris guy will be a CM and Drake will too.
Drake would be the Forum CM.

I have to say though, I'm satisfied to see that really the only complaint people seem to have about me is that I'm "too strict", however I'd still like to argue that that's not true.

Carlos makes a valid point that I take the rules literally....though are you suggesting that the rules are figurative suggestions open to any individual's interpretation? No, they're not...so therefore taking the rules literally should be a good characteristic for a moderator.
I'm not enforcing rules that don't exist, nor do I believe that I take the rules out of context...considering the arguments I've had in the forums, I assume people get the impression that I'm too strict due to my judgement of what's inappropriate (to sum it up: anything that has close relations to sexual topics) which you're welcome to disagree with; however I don't think that's necessarily a fair reason to label me as "too" strict.
Moderators shouldn't be easy going and bend the rules from time to time, creating double standards...but of course they shouldn't be ban hammering every rude comment or "wtf" exclamation, either. Strict, but not too strict. I'm confident enough to say I'm not too strict, because users (who have actually witnessed my moderating) say I'm one of the least strict mods. I may not actually be the least strict, but if they're getting that impression, I'm obviously not too strict.


As for "only using the forums to complain or get something locked" is a rather biased misconception. Yes, I have complained to get some threads locked, but it's clearly not the only thing I do in the forums, and it's rather disappointing that some of you insist to assume so.

I'm not trying to "redeem" myself for CM position (not that there's anything to redeem); in fact I'd prefer not to be, considering that as I'm getting older I won't be able to invest as much time into Plaza that a CM probably should. Nonetheless, I felt obligated to defend myself.

The "be civil and polite" rule should not be taken literally. You cannot force someone to be happy with everything and friendly towards everyone or punish them for not abiding by this "rule".

"Civil and polite" doesn't mean "Happy-go-lucky" ....users can have disagreements and arguments, and they can be sad or angry whenever they want; this rule merely means that they need to remain civil and well mannered even during their dispute or emotional crisis. Just as we're doing now, neither of us are throwing around insults and rude comments, even though we disagree.
