Mario, there are two routes to take; Enlisted (Private-Command Sergeant Major) and Officer (Second Lieutenant-Commandant of the Marine Corps).

To take the enlisted route you join right out of high school. You can't become an Officer once you take the enlisted route unless you go to Officer Candidates School. So you can't go from Command Sergeant Major to Second Lieutenant.

To take the Officer route you need to get a college degree and take ROTC for four years. Then after you graduate you will be a Second Lieutenant. (This is what I want to do)

So to put it shortly, yes you can become an Officer right after graduating college.
