^ The problem is that our forefathers shaped this nation with a Christian standpoint, causing a remarkable bias on that matter. I don't want to stray too far off topic, but our constitution was made to operate the United States of 1776, not the United States of 2014. This could potentially tie in with why g@y marriage is such a big, hard-to-resolve issue to the country. The answer to that question would have been a blatant "no" in 1776, but as a result of wider acceptance for unorthodox things like this, it's up for discussion today, yet there is widespread doubt because of that underlying Christian influence.

Great topic. Now, I personally am firmly against the "Marriage equality" aka g@y rights movement.

However I can see a lot of you are confused by what this actually means. G@y people kissing and being together in their homes is completely separate from this. It's a free country, and if two g@ys want to get it on in their bedroom, it's none of our business.

However, this movement or should I say bandwagon (As it's the "cool" thing these days) is really just an attack on traditional marriage and Christians in general. You guys act like Christians are the aggressors here, Christians really don't want any part of this, they are being backed into corners here. A good example is that cake business that got sued because the Christian owner wouldn't make a wedding cake for a g@y couple. It's not a matter of discrimination, Christians believe marriage is between a man and a woman no ifs ands or butts.

So any self-respecting Christian can't do anything that would support g@y marriage such as the wedding cake example, or photographing a g@y wedding or marrying g@y couples (Something pastors have to deal with)

The movement is incredibly intolerant which is pretty ironic if you ask me. So as much breath the wrong way at a g@y person and you are a "bigot" or "homophobe" two incredibly over-used insults that demonstrate that this movement is really just a bandwagon fueled mostly by idealistic ignorant young people who don't want to feel left out.

And as stated before, if you oppose it you'll face a lot of hatred and insults which is why a lot of wishy-washy Christians and politicans have given ground.

Imo, the whole thing is stupid, it's a lot of emotional drama designed to attack Christians.

Oh and just because you are "born g@y" does not mean you need to live like that. The people who support this always say "you can be whatever you want" yet to them it's unacceptable for a g@y person to marry someone of the opposite sex and have kids.

Kids is another reason why g@y marriage is pointless, because well, you need a guy and a girl to make babies. Simple as that. For g@y couples to "have kids" you need to use unconventional means and that kind of defeats the purpose of a "normal" marriage and family. Sure, there's adoption, but two Moms is not the same as a Dad and a Mom (And vice versa)

Sorry for the rant but honestly I could go on for another five paragraphs.

Little5 what I mean by that is since he's the one who said he can never be wrong in the first place, what if he is wrong? And just becaus he's god doesn't mean he automatically knows everything. It's easy to think about if you try.
