I don't think that particular YouTuber is supposed to be funny. It was seriously an amazing video if you really think about; all of the editing he did. Must have taken a week. YTP I think is supposed to be funny, though.

I don't know if you mean the brony fandom attracts people like this or if you mean people just suddenly become introverted when they start liking MLP, but either way, this is obviously not the case. Bronies are some of the most social people I know, especially when it comes to conventions.
