I kind of understand why it's happening. It's slowly changing to something completely different which isn't really liked by some people.

This is a bit of a spoiler for season 5, I suggest not reading this until you're done with 4 show

Hopefully, they can make it far better than before, as proven with many of the episodes (Rainboom is no exception).

MLP is dying. The pony craze used to be so apparent. Everywhere you went, ponies. Now, the only time I see ponies is on this site. I say MLP will continue for another three years, possibly more if it starts to pick up again. The rampant MLP haters were what brought so much attention to the series, and they have stopped caring entirely.

You still cannot deny that the internet presence of MLP has drastically decreased in the past few years.Â Despite that, MLP is still far from becoming irrelevant. It's older audience seems to be as obsessive as ever. Like Spencer stated, it's probably just the children who have stopped watching, as they are in the majority of the fandom.
