Been here since mid-2012.

Frankly, the only thing that was so "great" about old Plaza was the fact that it was new, growing, and socially entertaining. Things were always being added, changed...drama here and there and everywhere. I think we all thrived off of the drama, really. I logged in everyday wondering what new crazy thing might be happening that day.
It's not that we have less things to do on here, just that there's less going on. SL legit retired, Rob never builds onto the site anymore, users have toned down so much and mods have become more efficient...there's seldom the kind of drama and entertainment we used to have. It's not like we come here for "3DS Draw" or "Jolly Jokes", we all come here for the interactions. When the interactions aren't fun anymore, it's not fun to stay around. It seems like the rest of us are just holding on to a hope that something new might happen, or just for nolstalgic sake. Perhaps curiosity, but most likely just boredom.

i joined in 2011 when I was like 12 , and I can somewhat remember some of the older users ( golem259 , golf , asiankitty , pinky pink , man , shinestar , djk , zero(lmho i hated him so much) , mayoman , pinoyboy and like 1,000 trillion more )

those mysql errors that happened on a daily basis
the first miscellaneous forum being cleared/deleted
the "LADDERGOAT" thing ( i have no idea if that still happens on here today )

those times were hella fun tbh

I do not think mods have become more efficient tbh , I just think most ppl got sick of mods and left 😕 Most still here are quiet because they do not want the posts removed or banned 😖 The only 2 ppl that still do bad are smo and I guess mayoman ? But they do not cause so much trouble that mods can not handle it I guess 😕

The only posts that got removed were the ones that contained alleged NSFW, though that was nothing new. Rule controversy has always been a part of old Plaza. As well as false bans...again, all part of the drama that we don't seem to face fequently anymore.
And I can't really say mods have become more "efficient" persay...I haven't been around enough lately to confidently say that...however, we don't have mods going rogue, or too strict (callingmyselfoutehhheh), or other mod drama we used to have. So I'd say we've calmed down in some aspect, not just popularity wise.
