Of course not, but you said that majority of us do not really know how to interpret it after I brought it up. That gave me the impression you were disagreeing with my claim above your post.

Also, agreeing with Adler. I'm guessing OP's reason is that Satan is the bad guy in his religion. But that's not a valid reason.

The word Satan comes from Herbew and Arabic which means "astrayi", "opposite", "distant" or even "evil" and "enemy".

Since Satan is only found in Abrahamic scriptures in which he is said to be cursed and a bad guy, so there is no point in saying this:

"for kids to be able to see multiple points of view, to reason things through, to have empathy and feelings of benevolence for their fellow human beings"

It doesn't make any sense. It is just like trusting a thief with your money.

When God is not happy with you, Satan is happy with you. That is when Satan offers you his services by doing whatever you tell him to do and eventually takes control over you, but you think that you have control over him (which is a lie). This is what we also call black magic, or simply magic.

Now this after-school Satan worshipping by kids, I think it is a bad idea because other Abrahamic religion clubs teach against Satan, and the Satan club favours Satan, so this can also be disastrous.

Satan will make you do bad without even letting you realize whether it is good or bad.

Just see the videos of people saying that they want to sell their souls to Satan because they want fame and money and respect (respect is what doesn't even come close to them).

There is a solid evidence in Qur'an (I think it is also present in the Bible, but not sure) that Satan is among the Djinns (spirits, ghosts) who can control a spiritually weak person.
